This year’s PopTech theme, “Towards Resilience” examines how organizations and communities anticipate disruption, overcome challenges and manage a successful comeback. Inspired by the power of the Icelandic nature, the T+Co designers used simple lines and strong color contrast to recreate the landscape in a 3D environment. In preparation for the project, Art Director Peter Alfano developed a shader in Maya that maps illuminations on 3D objects and creates corresponding lines in reaction to light. Composer and longtime collaborator Michael Montes scored the music for the piece.
